OUR ANNUAL FAMILY REUNION IS BACK IN FLORIDA!!

Dear Carthen & Pryor Family & Friends:

​

We are excited for the Carthen-Pryor 40th Annual Family Reunion.  Our 2024 family reunion will be July 12th, 13th and 14th in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, home of the white sandy beaches and emerald waters.

 

Friday, July 12th, 2024 we will be having a cookout/get together.  The cookout is at Liza Jackson Park (338 Miracle Strip Pkwy SW, Fort Walton Beach FL 32547- Liza Jackson Park | Destin FWB, Florida), Pavilion B adjacent to Chicken and the Egg restaurant. We will start cooking at 3:30 pm and eating around 5:30 pm. The park will be reserved until dark. No glass containers will be allowed on park. The cook-out will include a “Fish Fry”, music, games, door prizes and distribution of the reunion T-Shirts.

 

Saturday, July 13th, 2024 we will be having our Masquerade Ball and our reunion program. The event will take place at Island Beach Resort (1500 Miracle Strip Parkway SE, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548 -The Island Resort - Emerald Coast Beach Resort (theislandfl.com). The social/ice breaker will begin at 6:00 pm CST along with the formal photo sessions in the downstairs Aruba Ballroom.  Dress to Impress, prizes will be awarded to the best dress couple plus individual male / female category. *Masquerade masks will be provided, however you may want to buy/bring your own to match your attire.

 

Dinner will be a buffet style meal consisting of your choice of cut ribeye steak, marinated chicken and vegetable kabobs and grilled grouper w/ lemon caper sauce. Salad, veggies and desert will complete the meal.

 

Sunday, July 14th, 2024 we will be having our Family Breakfast Buffet along with Worship Service at the Island Beach Resort, Fort Walton Beach, Fiji Room (1500 Miracle Strip Parkway SE, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548 - The Island Resort - Emerald Coast Beach Resort (theislandfl.com). Breakfast will start at 9:00 am CST followed by Worship Service. Please wear T-Shirt.

                                    

This year’s reunion fee’s are:

Ages 0-10 Free; Ages 11-15 $ 85; Ages 16 and Up $140. Please RSVP your attendance along with payment by June 1, 2024. The remaining balance deadline will be June 21, 2024.  If you have any questions, reached us at 850-830-3066 Betty or 850-830-1208 John or email john.betty@cox.net.

T-Shirts will be printed by a commercial vendor in “full color” on Royal Blue tees.  

Deadline to place orders for T-Shirts is extended to June 13th, 2024.

Rooms Must be Reserved No Later Than June 13th and will require one (1) nights deposit.

Please read cancellation policy prior to booking. I have reserved a few rooms and have the ability to secure more if needed.
